Saying goodbye to Moshi, Tanzania, the children from the orphanage and my friends whom I met in Moshi and Zanzibar was beyond difficult. I realize it is possible to go back, or to travel to see any of those people again in the future, however in the moment I felt deep sadness and overwhelming gratitude for the connections, friendships and memories.
I am humbled from my experiences and grateful for all that I have. Although I have left Tanzanina for now, I am committed to raising funds for my cause.
